How does 2 feet of boost piping from the turbo to throttle body sound? That is exactly what I am doing to project 240sx by adding an over the top intake manifold from a Nissan Pulsar. Since the CA18DET will use water injection as its only form of intercooling, the boost pipe can be made as short and direct as possible. And in this case, the shortest path is over the engine.

- The manifold with all of the accessories removed. (Such as AAC) These will be replaced with the CA18DET parts.

- The CA18DET AAC and FICD transferred to the Pulsar manifold. Gotta love Nissan parts interchangeability.

- Before the test install, some of the mounting points were drilled out to 1/2". The rest will need to be drilled to 3/8".

- This is the test install. I went ahead and installed the ka24de throttle body and it slightly rubs the valve cover. The valve cover will need to be modified before the final install.
