Today, the new turbo manifold was modified and installed and then a rough charge pipe was created for testing purposes. Also note the compressor blade on the turbo. This close picture is going to be used as a before image to test the wear on the wheel for pre turbo water injection.

- The collector is braced to the base of runners 2 and 3. All welds were made with a mig welder using steel wire. This works fine on stainless steel but does result in a little bit of spatter and an uglier weld.

- A thick weld is placed between runners 1 and 2 as well as 3 and 4.

- The turbo flange is then braced to runners 2 and 3.

- This opening was then plugged.

- Here is a close up of the mint condition compressor wheel. This will be used to determine if injecting water pre turbo damages the wheel.

- A mock up of the short charge pipe. The finished product will be cleaner and sport a SSQV blow off valve.
